Responsibilities

The Senior Platform Integration Expert will be responsible for: managing and maintaining specific ICT platforms, including technical landscape design, installation, configuration, deployment, technical security and operation of ICT components and databases.

Making use of their in-depth knowledge and expertise of specific ICT platforms to provide expert advice on the management and maintenance of those platforms. working closely with key third party suppliers/vendors to ensure the provision of a robust infrastructure capability to the business and application teams. liaising with architecture and shared services areas to ensure the security of the day to-day technical operations.

Key duties may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
  2. Negotiate, engage, and manage relationships with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability.
  3. Design, installation and operation of the ICT system instance landscape, client, and transport processes.
  4. Provide broad technical support for project build, test, and solution deployment activities.
  5. Proactively share knowledge and expertise as the subject matter expert and assist and mentor less experienced colleagues.
  6. Support and undertake the regular maintenance of patches and support packages for all technical layers.
  7. Prepare a range of technical documentations and reports. review and advise on a range of infrastructure solutions including technical design documentation, implementation plans, test plans and support procedures.
  8. Responsible for the delivery of optimal solutions that aligns with the current infrastructure and technology platforms.
  9. Resolve sensitive and/or escalated customer and stakeholder issues that adversely impact on policy, performance and/or customer service, including disaster/emergency situations.
Qualifications

You must holds a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance;

Experience

Mandatory Criteria

  1. A high level of demonstrated experience in Data Power and API Connect technology and its use in a complex ICT environment.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience working with integration technologies (REST APIs/Web Services/File Transfer).
  3. Experience working with system administration and automation technologies (DevOps techniques, CI/CD scripts, Python/Bash scripting, JavaScript, J2EE, JSON, Linux server fundamentals).

Weighted Criteria 

  1. Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following systems Data Power, API Connect, Java, JSON, JavaScript, Python, DB2, SQL, WebSphere, Unix and their use in a complex ICT environment.
  2. Experience in working with OpenShift/OpenStack technologies.
  3. Demonstrated experience in a service-oriented environments, including design and operational support.
  4. A high degree of organisational and time management skills, including demonstrated ability to meet priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  5. Work independently and escalate issues/risks in a timely manner.

Working Hours

Base Salary
$140-$160 Per hour
