Digital Policy Specialist

The Digital Policy Specialist will develop and deliver expert advice to support the oversight of cross-border trade digital reforms. This will include understanding digital, data and ICT requirements and solutions that relate to STS policy and regulatory reform proposals, while also delivering easily understood policy advice, proposals, and briefing to inform senior executive and government deliberations.

Experience

Essential criteria

1. Demonstrated experience working in a team to identify, plan and coordinate digital reforms to inform decision making and reforms.

2. Experience working with digital and regulatory reform disciplines to conduct research, plan and schedule reform initiatives, including preliminary research into interdependencies

3. Ability to bring together a variety of lenses (e.g. digital, data and ICT requirements) to produce easily understood advice

4. Demonstrated knowledge of policy reform required to enable digital transformation and how to align initiatives with digital strategies, including interdependencies.

Desirable criteria

1. Knowledge and experience in cross border trade ICT policymaking.

2. Experience working in agile multi-disciplinary teams
