Project

The Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD) is one of two divisions within the AEC’s Enterprise Transformation Group (ETG). It is responsible for delivering robust ICT capabilities and ensuring the agency’s systems remain election‑ready. Within CIOD, the Information Platforms & Application Development (IP&AD) Branch provides ICT services to the AEC and is structured into four sections: IT Roll and Event Applications, IT Application Development, Information Management, and Application Platform Management (APM).

The branch delivers its solutions and services through a selective sourcing model that blends in‑house expertise with outsourced support. IP&AD is committed to strengthening the agency’s technology capability by delivering resilient, modern, and secure systems informed by data and insights, while also building the skills of its teams to support the development of innovative new products and services.

The Enterprise Testing and Analysis (ETA) team sits within the Application Platform Management (APM) section of the IP&AD Branch in the CIOD Division. The team supports the sustainment of the AEC’s electoral systems and applications by conducting ongoing testing as part of its Business As Usual (BAU) activities. Through this work, ETA helps ensure that critical systems remain stable, reliable, and ready for electoral operations.
